Gosia and the flying whales
Gosia and the Flying Whales – Polish singer and musician.
Her universe emerge somewhere from between theatre and music, between songwriting and voice experiments, between intimate solo concerts and moments of shared singing.
After years of singing with others, exploring traditional songs, voice improvisation, singing in a folk band, she decides to sing her own songs.
Voice is in the center of her research,
Voice as an instrument, voice as a sound and as a personal statement, voice as an intimate way of communication with others.
She performs mostly with the guitar, but also a capella, with ukulele, piano, egg, hands, glasses...from folk to rock she travels in order to share.
She sings in bars, clubs, boats, apartments, meadows, museums, bridges, on her bike, with trees, birds, trains, electric lights, beautiful women, strong men and fragile man, dirty pigeons and plastic bags, rain drops and all those that are there at the right time and the right place.
